Time to resize my wedding ring!

So, little NSV....today, I had to take my wedding ring off. I've lost some weight, and the ring fits so loose that I'm afraid it will fall off while I'm cleaning and doing dishes. Yay! Go, me!

Good for you!!!! I'm in the same boat - from a size 9 to a 7.....still waiting for my last 20 lbs to resize it.

I'm wearing a ring guard on mine. Not allowed to resize it until I'm "thin" for six months.

I had them put a temp resizer in mine. That way I only have to have it resized once, when I hit goal.

My wife bought me another when I was at my fattest, so now that I'm down to normal sized hands again I have to wear the original as a 'keeper' in case the replacement falls off!

I should check out the ring guard or the temp resizer! I didn't know there were options. Is it expensive to resize? I probably should do like you guys and wait until I'm at my goal for a few months!

That's the best advice yet (wink)....or course, the husband may not like that plan, which would lead to him taking the ring back in divorice court...oh, let's not go there ;^P

I have the same problem with my engagement ring! I am so afraid to loose it I never wear it around the house. I have to get a ring guard for it. I am not going to get it resized until I am at my goal weight.. which I dont know then either because the place my fiance got it from took way to long to get it resized! Great job on loose the weight and having even your fingers shrink!!!

I just sent mine off today to get re-sized a full size down because it fell off when I was washing my hands today.

Edit: it only cost my $35 dollars to get it re-sized

I had my engagement ring re-sized a few months back. It had a crack in the band and would have coast like $200 to fix, but only $35 to re-size. I went down a whole size, but today I noticed it was starting to spin around my finger again. I haven't re-sized my wedding band yet but I think I will wait till I'm done with my weight loss before getting them sized again.
