I'm 41 and live in the Cotswolds in the UK. I added the 'my fitness pal' app a few months ago but didn't really use it much. I've only just discovered the website. I'm 232 lbs and, ideally, would like to lose about 50 lbs. I've started logging what I eat and have ventured back into the gym after MANY years away! I've had problems with my weight since I was about 18, I once lost 50 lbs but gradually put it all back on :-(

I'm hoping I can meet some people on here to help me stay motivated. Day 1 over, off to bed now.

    It's great to hear that you're motivated to get back to the gym. I'm trying to be more active and more mindful of what I eat. MFP has been working for me so far! Feel free to add me. I could sure use the encouragement and would be more than have to give it. Cheers!
