I'm more of a lurker here than a poster. I thought I'd update.

A month after my lastish post I went away to treatment, gained ten pounds, lost 14 and then gained it back, I've reached my goal weight of 115 lbs but it's a bit of a struggle to keep it on (or rather to keep myself from taking it off). I'm wondering if there are any lovely ladies here working through eating disorders and if so how do you work at keeping yourself healthy?

  • I am a compulsive overeater.

I just try, one day at a time, to be healthy and make better choices.
This site helps me stay focused on doing things that are healthy and good for us all.

    Best of luck to you!

I know there are a lot of ladies that have struggled with & have over come eating disorders, but they normally post during the week. Just wanted to let you know that you might get more support from this group if you post again (or bump this thread) Mon-Fri. :flowerforyou: Good luck to you!

Hi Baobab. I have dealt with my eating demons for years and years. I got pregnant and gained 45 pounds and FREAKED out... always was in control. Well, my little one is now 4 months old and I'm way down on my weight again. I feel really good about being lower, but it's getting out of control. I'm married to an amazing man who is supportive and wonderful and never judges me... but lately he's been finding ways to talk to me about his concerns with me getting too low. It's so hard because I want to be healthy. I'm breast feeding and my baby is doing amazing. But that means I'm losing an additional 300 to 500 calories per day out the window due to that and I don't make up any of those calories... plus the "demon" on my shoulder telling me to limit what goes in. It's a rough road. If you ever want to chat, I'm here for you.
