Good luck! I'm sure you will do great. I also did my 1st 5k in years last month and ran it in about 39. I am currently averaging about 36 minutes and would like to do at least that well when I run my next one on Oct. 15th.

I haven't run a 5k in 20 years, but will be running in one on Sunday. I'm nervous. Used to run them in 22-23 minutes, and was really hoping to break 30 minutes (lol).....but with 35 extra pounds, 4 kids, & 20 years later, i'll be doing good just to finish! Good luck!

I am sure you can beat that time as long as you've been running somewhat consistently between then and now. I have my next race on the 24th...and am sidelined a bit with an injury. I should be healed by the time of the race, but not much training from now until then. Kinda bummed, but I still think I can beat my time of 38 minutes from the last time too!

Best of luck! I have one next Saturday. The last one I did was at the same event last year and I think I clocked in just under 30 minutes (yay for a non-runner!) So I'm going to see if I can beat it this time :)
