completed first 5k about 2 1/2 wks ago.
Since then been struggling to run half hour even 20 minutes. Went back to week 5 day 3 C25K.

Today I just decided to run listening to my own music and not C25k podcast, and just to keep on running without looking at the clock. Ran 45 minutes! and the only reason I stopped was because I had to get home and get ready for work!!!

    That's good!

Try to avoid over extending on distance or effort or time on each run though, even though you might feel like you can run forever. That way leads to injury (current personal experience).

    Enjoy your running!

Yup agree with Goron - I got shin splints out of doing that after watching some programme on the Para's where some guy said "it doesn't matter what you think you can do you can always do more" - turns out that didn't apply to me, still not fixed properly in left leg as of about 10 years ago :-( BUT - well done you did really great, not trying to be negative, but please if you feel any pinching or tweaking, walk again :-)
