Bike Riding - Chicagoland

Hey Chicagoland,
The weather has finally changed, which leads me to ask if anyone here rides a lot. I have done the prarie path from Lombard out to Geneva, but I am know looking for a more organized ride, with greater distance. Anything from 50 to 100 miles would be great.
I used to ride a lot, but have not done so in a while. Any suggestions on clubs would be great. I would classify myself as a total novice. Not into the spandex and toe clips either, just looking for a nice long ride.
I am in the Western Suburbs BTW.
Thanks! Cheers!

Not in your area, but you might consider spandex & clips one day soon. Especially if you are looking into riding log distances. You might find these articles helpful...
