Ladies....A question!

For any of you ladies out there that have put on muscle, i must ask;
Have your tops/bras begun to fit funny? I wear my sports bra a LOT (because i work out a LOT and it's just easier than changing a dozen times), but put on my regular, reliable pushup bra (a cups, you know what i mean here.) I noticed what looked like a back-under armpit muffin top. However, when poked i noticed that is my flipping Lat muscle and not backfat like previously assumed. Which is great and all, but it makes me wonder if anyone else has this happen? the bra isn't tight by any means, it's just sitting where i put on muscle.
Also, same issue, different clothing-some of my shirts are getting uncomfortable (mainly ones with sleeves that go almost to my elbow, but are more fitted than tshirts) because my arms have put on muscle too.
Just wondering if you ladies have had that problem and if you changed sizes or just let it be.
Thanks

When I put on muscle my butt raises and makes my pants look tight across my hips but if I buy a larger size then they look stupid around the waist and thighs.
I have a really narrow rib and back so I don't have that problem but I would suggest less weight when working out your lats and doing faster reps.0 -
When I first started weight-lifting, I bulked up quite a bit without gaining an ounce. After a couple weeks the bulk went back down, but I still continued to gain strength. Dunno if this is the case for you, but you may want to give it time.
Otherwise, just try different sizes of shirts to see what's most fitting/flattering for the new bodyshape.
I have wideset shoulders as it is. Here's my rule when trying on tops: if I can't raise my arm without the whole shirt lifting, then I need to go a size up.0 -
I haven't too much.. the chest of my shirts has gotten a little tight, and the part of my pants covering my quads, but as fat goes down it seems to balance out.0

my arms bulked up pretty quick after starting lifting so about a month after starting I had a short sleeves dress that I had bought for a special occasion. come the day before the party... I tried on the dress and it looked like I had a muffin top on my arms. had to get it taken out a bit but now that same dress looks big on me so I think it went down. the rest of my upper body just got narrower though.0
