I will be starting once the doctor clears me. My goal is to run a half marathon but i have not run in over a year so I will start here and then start a half marathon training program.

I am finishing up week two...
  • I just completed Week 2 exercise 2 on my lunch break today. I ended up restarting because I broke my toe right after completing week 1.
  • Just started week 4. I love it. I was worried, but it is going better than I thought.

    W6, D2 tomorrow! I LOVE IT!
Ran my first 5K on Monday and have another one planned for Thanksgiving!
  • I finished week 1, day 1 a few hours ago, actually. :)
  • I downloaded the app and some podcasts last night - planning to start this weekend. I am a little scared but being brave after reading how much success other MFP's have had with it. I have always wanted to 'be good' at running as I much prefer to exercise alone to zone out and clear my head.

Fingers crossed my bravery translates to some success!
  • I'm probably going to try it because my own approach at running any sort of respectable distance is going nowhere.

Just finished Week 6 Day 3 yesterday! Love it!
I almost broke down with joy, when I finished the first long run (20 min).
    I couldn't believe I had done it!

I'm doing it, to get back into running after long absence. Last time I tried running, I didn't follow a programme, just went up slowly each week increasing my distance. I'm really enjoying the structure of the programme. Which surprises me as I didn't think I would.

My daughter and I are doing it together.
