GREEK YOGURT!!! GROSS!!
Absolutely! I don't care what you do to it, it's tragic!0 -
As for the fat free versions of things like cheese, mayo, sour cream, Ranch I can't do it..they are truly gross.
But their light versions are great and I don't sense a huge difference with the taste.0 -
Lots of people are advocates of almond milk. I can't stomach it, sweetened or non sweetened, yuck. I have also tried the "miracle noodles".....pretty gross! I'll just eat less real pasta thanks.0

Tofu noodles.
And Veggie Straws. ugh. I'm not sure what brand they are but they're terrible.0 -
I am kinda lucky I guess because I am so picky.
Most of the "diet foods" are versions of foods I wouldn't eat anyways.
I do like RTD Shakes (some of them) Diet Muscle Milk is disgusting.
I cannot stomach the smell or taste of most protein powder.0 -
Diet Sodas. I've tried, but I just can NOT get past the aftertaste. I'll just suffer the consequences of drinking a regular soda and work out a wee bit longer.0

I will second tofu. I've tried using it several ways and I just don't dig it!:-P

I can handle the fat free ranch, diet sodas, protein bars, fake chocolate... but I absolutely canNOT stand fat free cream cheese. It tastes like spreadable chalk!!!0

I just tried one of those new Fiber One 90 calorie Brownies --- so gross. doesnt even taste like chocolate - not worth 90 calories
Disagree! Throw it in the microwave for 10 seconds... delish0 -

Yes- it's terrible! Same with sour cream!0 -

hm, different strokes, I guess. I buy the chocolate ones (I am not a PB fan)--and I LOVE them...0 -
Atkins Protein Bars - cardboard with a nasty aftertaste! Yuck!
They really turned me off of trying others.

Keep looking! There are some good ones out there. I don't like any of the Atkins' products. Right now I am working on some Snackwell's cinnamon-raisin protein bars that are fabulous!0 -

Hmm. I liked those. Maybe you had a bad batch.0 -
Plain or not properly prepared tofu and WestSoy Seitan is just plain SICK. I can see how even trying it once prepared improperly can completely ruin someones view of it.. But I have done some pretty yummy stuff with it. On the other side of it, I have also done some not as yummy stuff with the Seitan and it almost made me puke (no joke) but it is really good if you marinade it in some steak sauce and broil it!0

Celery
Cabbage

Cauliflower
Tripe
Hákarl0 -
i've never heard tripe called a diet food, but it's just about the most disgusting thing i'[ve ever seen so i do not disagree that it is gross tasting :P0

The worst tasting to me are always the fat-free things that are supposed to be high fat, like salad dressing, mayo, butter, etc. Not only do they taste like crap, but they're so full of chemicals, it's no wonder they taste that way. And they never really satisfy the desire for the real thing anyway. So now if I really want chocolate or dressing or whatever, I go ahead and have a small amount of the actual food. But in general, I've learned to do without most of the stuff -- I now like plain baked potatoes, tuna with hot dog relish instead of mayo, etc. I do occasionally use a spray or so of "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter," but if I really want butter, I use a little of the genuine article.
Oh... The most recent yuckiest thing I tried was Faygo brand Chocolate Fudge diet soda. Pure chemical taste! Aaack!!
Yea!0
