hi!! yes this is totally of topic for a diet site, but i know theres alot of mummys on here!

has your child ever gone through a stage of taking off his nappy and trousers/pants without being able to control there bladder?!

nearly every morning my son has wiggled out of his pants and undone his nappy, usually just on one, side enough for it to be hanging off and not catch anything! i've been lucky so far and he's not done a poop but his legs are soaking when he wakes up and feel cold and i just feel terrible, he seems to do it any time from his 2-3rd feed his blankets get wet and although hes happy and it doesnt seem to cause him any problems - it cant be doing any good!

he can undo his poppers on babygros/sleepsuits and just stands up and rolls over to get his pants down hes 11 months and very active but short of getting up every hour to check on his nappy (he usually sleeps on his tummy which makes it even harder) i can't find a way around it?? i'm sure theres some simple answer staring me in my face and i dont belive he means to do it i think hes just active and curious and it just happens.

any tips?! he's too young for pull up pants and potty training yet!

Yes they do this all 3 of mine have lol, baby grows I put on backwards I know it sounds silly but it works.

Its just a thing they go through and they will grow out of it, my youngest is 19 months and she did it for a while but is fine now

My daughter doesnt do this but she does sleep in a vest and sleepingbag/grobag so she cant even get to her nappy. she's 9 months though so maybe she isnt that interested in her nappy (yet). she is very active though and has been pulling herself up for about 2 months so i'm sure she could get to it if she wasnt in a sleepingbag x

A safety pin through each side of the last nappy of the night might help? I bought my 2 pyjamas rather than sleepsuits, the bottoms didn't have poppers. Babygrows on backwards are good too :)

Mine used to pull the nappies off completely and they'd be on the floor by the cot in the morning lol. It wasn't always just a wet one... Who said babies are cute again?!

Some sleepsuits have the poppers in the back instead of between the legs. Maybe that's a solution?

Hi i never had this with my other two but my youngest has started doing it he's 11months. He's in size 4/4+ nappies and they do that size in pull ups so I bought that size just for nights and it works fine. During the day he has trousers on sp can't get near his nappy so he wears normal ones at night.

Clare I considered pull ups but I assumed because he can take his own trousers off he'll be able to get that off too!

El I wouldnt trust him with saftey pins at the stage he eats everything - just incase, but i'm a right worrier when it comes to him!

Not sure about a sleeping bag he hates not being completly free but I will look into the baby grows with poppers at the back! :)

I didn't think they done these things till about 2 yrs old!
