Scales - which do you have?

I need to buy a set of scales to weigh my lardy-*kitten*

I live in the UK... don't know if that makes a difference!

Just want to know what scales others have, and what scales you guys would recommend. I'd like digital ones that I can use in kilo's OR pounds OR stones, and ones that take into account height etc (unless that is actually useless and there is no benefit from that!)

um id say any scales really.
im in England, and every pair of scales i have ever used has been stone and pounds..
but im sure if u preferred kilos u could hunt for one..

I have a set of salter scales, which you can use either lbs,sts or kilos. I have mine set on lbs as that is what the site uses and is easier than trying to convert from one to the other!

Salter "Stow" 9147 Scale.

Asda Living or Boots online = £25, think Tesco and Amazon do them as well. I got mine in store at Asda.

Mine are proving accurate and reliable )

Tesco has a set for about £15 I think they were. They are sound, they do kg, stone and lbs readings. Im in Liverpool, so I imagin your Tescos will have the sme stock.

I've got a basic Salter digital set of scales that are the most accurate I've used in that I can hop on and off several times and it always reads the same and it matches my weight when I get weighed by my GP practice nurse on check-ups.

It does kg and stones/lbs and I got it cheap at TK Maxx and Argos also stock Salter. It does nothing more than let me know my weight, but I think that's enough - you can do all your BMI calculations etc online and I've heard the scales with fat monitors are not accurate.

It's also good for weighing my suitcase when going on holiday!

I've checked and the one I have (V1225) doesn't seem to be available any more but I suspect any Salter digital scale would be equally good.

I think buying scales is a real predicament, do you go for digital or old fashioned etc.
I got some really good Salter ones from Boots so you can get Advantage points too! They are digital and can be set to lbs, stones and kg. Sound like they would suit you. They were about £35.00 I think.

I got the cheap one from Argos, it weighs in kg,lbs and st. And its digital as well. See if they have any on offer. I have had mine for 3 years and it still works, just recently changed the battery.

I got it on myvirtualmodel or somthing! i can't remember exactly, but goodle virtual model and you can change her weight, height etc! and dress her up! hahaha!

Got some Salter digital ones a couple of years ago, think they cost about £20 at the time - they've got two settings to weigh in either kg or stones, pounds and ounces. I wonder about their accuracy once in a while so check by getting on with/without a bag of flour or something, haha. Still accurate so far.

hi there, i am in the UK too :-)
I own a SALTER body analyser which i bought at argos. I think it was about 25 quid. I am still getting use to it and sometime i do have my doubts. In fact, the first one i bought about a month and a half ago i had to return it as it started to give error msgs for no reason. Gor a replacement and so far it seems to be working ok. Yes, it take into consideration your age, sez, height etc and apart from the weight, also gives you body fat, water and musle percentages. i use it as a guide as i still question the accuracy.

I would recommend mine - I bought Weight Watchers Digital Scales. This is a slightly older model, but something like these :

I like that you can jump on and off, to get repeat readings and it's always the same - some scales you get on and off, and you get a 2-3lbs difference each time you try. Which can be frustrating.

I like mine - plus you can switch between KGs, Lbs or St/lbs. Which is handy.

We have Weightwatchers scales in my house. They're great, you can weigh yourself in stones, pounds of kgs, and they have 1/4, half and 3/4 pound measurements.

I love my Weight Watchers digital scales and you can switch between Lbs & Kg.
Mum has Salter digital ones and very happy with them too.
