Ok I need some advice or motivation.
MFP has helped me realize how I eat... Semi-healthy but pointed out that I intake a lot more sugar and sodium then I thought. I have been working out for a month now and so far I have lost 2 lbs a week (total 6lbs). I weighed in yesterday morning and didn't lose anything... I also didn't gain. It's frustrating to me cause I workout at least 8 times a week and I am cautious of what I am in taking. I have noticed my energy has disappeared but I still make myself hit the gym.
Please help!

You may be working out too much ... also make sure your net calories are staying above 1200 minimum0

Did you measure? Are you drinking enough water? I lost like crazy the first 6 weeks, then the 7th week gained 2 pounds. But then I measured and discovered that I had decreased inches in my waist, neck and chest.0

You probably don't have any energy because you're not eating enough. If that's you in the picture, you only have a little to lose and if you don't eat enough your body will hang on to everything it can. Set your goal to lose 2 pounds per week and then eat your calories. You'll be surprised!0

Well you are eating way too little. If you do not feed your body how do you expect to have any energy? Food = Energy.
Eat all your calories mfp gives you. at least keep your net around 1200. Your BMR is decreasing because you are not getting enough food and most likely breaking down muscle. Which turns into looking "skinny fat" isnt too appealing.0 -
Well, I checked your diary and it looks like your not eating enough. Most days your not "netting" 1200 calories (and that is be BARE minimum that you should eating). If you don't feed your body enough, it will not allow you to lose any weight. You need to make sure your eating the amount of calories that MFP says you should.0

With most weight loss you will find you drop weight almost immediately and then your body will adjust and plateau for a week, sometimes a couple. My friend will lose 1lb, then maybe 0.5, then maybe put one 0.5 then the last week of the month will lose 7lb, so 8lb in a month, on average 2lbs per week. It's different for everyone though.
Also 8 x per week is a lot of workouts, your body may be trying to store calories for energy if you are over doing it. 6x a week is probably a better goal for you so your body can recover. Plus, if you are doing weights, your muscle will put on 'weight' on the scales, but you may have lost the 'fat'.
Dont' get discouraged and keep going, otherwise it will be twice as hard to start again to do everything you have already done.

I agree, you need to eat more. Less Starbucks & Jack in the Box and more protein, whole grains, etc. I work out 2-3 times a day and I aim for 1500-1700 calories on those days, 1200 on my rest day and I've averaging 3 lbs lost a week. I'm also taking whey protein to help prevent soreness and muscle fatigue and I choose whole grain over processed grains to keep me fuller and have more energy.0

Thank ya'll. I try to eat at least 1200 calories a day. I am addicted to starbucks. I do however get the skinny/coffee/lite so they are never more than 160 calories each. I do not go to jack in the box... not a big fan of fast food but I was taking an 8 hour road trip (takes forever to travel Texas especially with all the fires). Yesterday was a bad day for food… half of the stuff I was eating I was forcing myself cause I just wasn’t hungry. This is not normal for me. I love to workout... Just something about the gym is relaxing to me. I do tend to just do cardio. I have not taken measurements so I will do that tonight.
Thank ya’ll again!0 -

Having Starbucks isn't a bad thing nor is having Jack in the Box. As long as you can "budget" for those items than its ok. Not everyday of course but its ok to have whatever you want in MODERATION.
However, when you say you "try" to eat atleast 1200 calories....you have to remember if you go to the gym and you burn 500 of those 1200 that you ate then really you only ate 700 calories. You have to put those calories back into your body. "NET" means when all is said and done at the end of the day after exercise has been done...did you finish the day with 1200 in your body.0
