Advice & Recommendation

I have been looking at both Insanity & P90X and cannot decide between the two programs. My question is what have you tried and would recommend?
Second as you can see I am still very overweight. Are these programs recommended for people of my weight and if so have any of you tried them and been successful? I work out at the gym and at home so I am not afraid of a hard work out I just want to step it up but also make sure I am being realistic.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I did Insanity and LOVED it! I like how i didnt need any equipment or a pull up bar.

I'm currently on week #8 of p90x, turbo jam & zumba hybrid workout. I fit in the workouts as needed with extra cardio on my 'off' day. I would recommend the p90x lean if you're worried about strength. The next round of p90x that I do will probably be the lean version with more cardio. I haven't tried insanity, but I've heard a lot of people on the forums here talk about doing p90x & insanity hybrid as well.0

I would select P90x since it will not have you doing crazy stuff like Insanity where your weight can play a factor on your joints. Insanity does alot of plyos (jumps) so it's high impact. Whereas P90x does supersetting and not as hard on your joints. There is the Kenpo and plyos on P90x but it's not as hard as Insanity. Hope this helps.0

Thanks for the advice. I was thinking P90x so I think I will try that first and then we I get to a lower weight try insanity.0

I know my hubby has been looking at P90x and we've seen Tony Horton on QVC. They sometimes offer easy pay options and if you don't like it, they will take it back. I just happened to see him on there the other day. No sure price wise or package wise who has the better deal. Just a thought.0
