Hi - well done to all of you who are successfully losing weight with MyFitnessPal.

I needed to lose a bit of weight and decided to use MFP - originally on my iPhone. I find the food database brilliant because I can find almost everything I look for. It's so easy to plan my meals each day. I'm aiming for 1200 calories a day and find that I can do this without too much difficulty. I prefer to eat vegetarian so loads of veg and salads suit me fine. I've cut out a few things that I never realised were so high in cals, thanks to MFP!

So far it's working great - I've even managed to include a few treats so that it doesn't feel as though I'm completely doing without some of the things I enjoy.

    It is great here, isn't it? The difference between this and the phone app is that here you can interact with other people a lot more; so motivating. If you want a (veggie) friend, feel free to 'friend' me. :smile:
