I was searching for heavy bag workouts on Youtube and I found a great, simple workout that will get your heart pumping!I
I do five three minute rounds with 30 seconds of rest/stretching in between and I maintain a HR of 150 and burn 325 calories in roughy 25 minutes counting warmup, and stretching....
I found an app for the Ipad that is a programable Boxing timer, but any watch would do... also, a friend to hold the back makes transistions smoother and makes it a little more fun....
Each round consists of:
30 seconds of normal punching with your hands up the whole time, and constant moving.
30 seconds of constant, rapid punching with constant "peddling of the bike" with your feet.....
30 seconds of knock out punching, full power blows
Repeat to complete a round
A good workout if you have had a rough day, or just want to burn a few calories because you discovered sunbutter and over endulged
