What do I believe?

Okay so today I went to the gym. Today I was lifting arms and chest. Please don't make too much fun of me. I'm really weak up top.
Here's is the breakdown of the workout:
Chest Press: 12 reps @ 15lbs, 12 reps @ 15lbs, 3 reps @ 15, and 12 reps @ 10
Shoulder press: 7 @ 10, 8@5, 15@5, 12@5
Decline Bench Press: 12@15, 3@15, 12@10, 12@10
Shoulder shrugs: 12@ 25lbs x 3 sets
Pectoral Butterflies on ball: 12@10lbs, 15@10lbs, 15@10
Side to fronts: 12 @ 2.5lbs in each hand x3 sets
(take the weight straight out to the side, bring straight down, lift back up in front and bring to side and let it down)
Incline Bench Press: 12@10, 13@10, 12@10
Lat pull down:12@70, 5@70, 10@55, 15@55
Leg lifts: 2 sets of 15
Ball crunches: 2 sets of 25
Killer cockroach: 1 set of 10
(Pretty much v sits)
Bicycles: 1 set of 15
Side to Side (obliques): 2 sets of 25 on each side with 6lb medicine ball

Vitals:
Weight: 148.5
Height: 5' 5"
I had drank 6 ounces of water at that point
Max HR was 156
Avg Heart rate 128
We worked out for 1 hour 14 min

My Polar FT7 said I burned 511 calories. I tested it against the machines and it is usually spot on. I also used it while taking a riding lesson and it said I burned less than MFP said so I trust it on that one.
But MFP said I should burn around 289 or something like that.

I was just wondering which one I should believe. I don't plan on eating back all my calories and just to be safe I went with MFP so I didn't overestimate I was just wondering for future use.

Thanks!:flowerforyou:

Go with the HRM. It is more accurate. ;) MFP just estimates what the outcome might be, but your HRM will give you the best results.

See... I was thinking about following my HRM but it is so hard for me to believe I burned that many calories. I know I was working pretty hard and not taking breaks between the exercises but it is still hard for me to believe. :ohwell:
