I'm a 56yo disabled vet.. i know i can do this if i can just keep off the snacks and remember to chart daily. Feel free to add me and I will try to motivate and help anyone i can. Cynthia

    It gets easier day by day. And once you start cutting out the bad food and eating the better stuff that gets easier too. Or at least it has for me.

    Welcome Cynthia.
    I have been using this site since January and it has been a huge help. Hubby joined me in April. Between the two of us we have "lost our children and then some " (85 pounds). Take it day by day and focus on one thing at a time. Based on what you said, I would start with logging food and focusing on what you eat. Once you feel you have that down well add in some very light aerobic activities, even if it starts with just sitting in a chair and boxing. Good upper body and can work up a sweat.
