Well, I have more than 80 days as my weight loss is very s-l-o-w and I'll be doing this for a looong time...but I have exactly 80 days to do as much as I can to get in better health and shape because I was just told that I'm GOING TO DISNEY WORLD! WOOHOOO! Okay, so maybe that's not a big deal to anyone else here, but I've never been, and my auntie-mom (an aunt who took me in after my father died when I was young) is paying the way for my family of four to go. This is kinda huge for me!!
So what should I do to get in the best condition possible in this time frame?!? I don't really care so much about "what I look like" as I'd be very self-centered to think anyone would even care what *I* looked like in a place like Disney...but I do want to get healthy enough that my body will be able to handle 7 days of go-go-go at the parks/resort. Okay and fine, it would be nice if I could feel even a bit more comfortable wearing a bathing suit (right now, that is NOT an option in my condition!).
I'm 5'4, 178 lbs...and just getting started with more intensive workouts (as compared to just walking routines). I am currently doing 30DS (on day 17) and about 30 mins of brisk walking each day. Any suggestions for workouts ~ specific ones, duration to do them each day, how often, etc?! I'm only losing about a pound a week right now as it stands so I know I won't lose a lot of weight before then...but surely I could feel better and fit better into my clothes. HELPPP PLEASE?!!

Honestly, a pound a week is a great loss and for most people it isn't realistic to expect more than that. So, losing about 11 pounds is what you should expect before your trip. I'm sure you know that will be a huge difference! As far as diet goes, make sure you're not eating any processed foods, fast food and avoid restaurant food. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, low fat dairy, lean meat and drink lots of water. 30DS should be all the workout you need and you can do it 5-6 days a week if you aren't feeling too tired or sore from that much exercise.0

A lb a week is a good, steady pace. You may want to try adding some weight lifting. The more muscle you have, the more effeciently you burn fat. Start with free weights t home ig that makes you more comfotable. It is great that you are getting more protein, but you may also want to monitor your sugar intake. It is easy to overdue it in the sugar in the Americzn diet. If you have On demamd, try Exercise Tv. Lots of great workouts for any time of day. Even some 10 min. Routines if you,re crinched on time. No matter what, enjoy your vacation!0
