Is anyone else finding that doing more exercise is making them less hungry?? I don't mean avoiding eating, I mean legitimately less appetite?

I'm the opposite...if I don't eat a small meal an hour before working out, I am starving by the time I am done. My appetite is crazy after a workout!

i have the same problem, i would expect to be starving after but i'm never even a bit hungry till at least 2 hours later... which is why i can never eat back my exercise cals by the end of the night lol
  • I feel the same way! I haven't snacked at all since I started exercising and I've been under my calorie goal. But I'm also taking oxyelite pro which may have something to with it since it's an appetite suppresant. I haven't once really thought of food or was hungry at all. I worked out for an hour today and burned roughly 500 calories.
  • I am never hungrier than when I excersise regularly, which is why I typically avoid it.

for me it depends on the workout.. on cardio days I have less of an appetite but on days that I lift weights or do any strength training I am super hungry...which sucks cause i don't burn enough calories with just strength training to feed my hunger LOL

yeah but ive made a habit of eating after haha.
well depending on when. i just stick to my meal times.
but i do notice that if i wasnt so organized i could easily go without eating afterwards, it just gives you this nice happy feeling and food is the last thing on your mind most of the time
  • For me it's about half and half. Some days I feel like I'm STARVING, and others I forget to eat. I try to specifically plan my work outs so that a meal is always soon after (I've read it's best if you feed your body 30 mins - 2 hrs after working out to help with recovery).
