Trying something new

Over this past year I lost a total of 0.2 pounds. There were times where I had lost a nice amount, only to have it creep back up just for me to lose it all over again. I'm going to try something new this year. I'm not going to try to lose weight!!! I'm going to try to gain good health. I want to focus on enjoying life and living in the moment and not worry about what the number on the scale says. I'm going to be more active--make a promise to myself to move my body and fill it with healthy foods. I believe with this change of tude, I will have better results than when I focus on what I can't have and how I have to workout and think of the scale as a tool and not as the enemy.

  • It's always good to have a positive attitude! And good health is much better than weight loss (though the two generally go hand in hand). I hope you have much better luck this year. Stay positive!
