Terms that annoy me!
I just read where someone said they were annoyed by those referring to their weight loss as a journey. You are losing weight not trying to return the ring of power to the fires of Mordor. I almost peed my pants.
Now it's all I can think about when someone mentions their journey.
The phrase that gets me is "do your research". Ugh. As most people don't have scientific journals laying around or easy access to medical libraries...research means google. As a scientist this makes me cringe. Almost as much as orcs.
Ok I'm done nerding out.

Oh that is hysterical. "Journey" is one of my pet peeves! When referring to weight loss and on those stupid Bachelor/Bachelorette tv shows.0
