Success Story from day 1?

Hi friends,
Today I will tell you a success story but is not based in how many kilos, pounds, stones, etc, someone is loosing or how much a body shape can change.
When you are, like me, 142Kg, according to the doctors as "obese" and according to my mind as "just bigger than the others" and you try to find clothes, either you live in USA with those big sizes or you have a "problem".
I also remember 8 years back when I was 100-105Kg and I was great! Great with 100-105Kg, oh yes! I am 1.88mts tall and wide shouldered, always practising sports so is not that much.
But hey, time flies and "suddenly" you are 142Kg and your favourite sentence is: "Don't worry, tomorrow diet!"
But tomorrow never comes... and now I am leaving in a paradise for all the fast-food franchises, Jeddah, KSA. Oh, I would like to have a 2 hours walk as I used to have back home Mallorca Island, Spain but guess what? 45 Celsius is not a "friendly environment" for human life out in the streets, haha.
So I decided going to the gym... no directed classrooms like aerobics, steps, indoor walking (which I really adore), just a workout area full of machines and some treadmills.
Then I discovered MFP and also C25K, since then they are my two workout colleagues.
I am now in W5D1 and my feelings are very good. So, for me... the success story is being able every day or every other day of jumping from the cousy sofa and say to my wife: "Honey... I go to the gym, today jogging and workout instead of sofa and munchies"
But she is pregnant, 5 months and a half and it's way difficult to count calories when she is eating everything around! (But I like it, the baby is our priority, for sure!!)
On top of that people do not really understand that is amazing difficult for someone like me to say "no" to a second, a desert, and many other things and they say: "Come on, one slice of this is not going to make you bigger"
So here you have my very own success story. I am trying my best, even if I went back Spain for vacations I ate, I must admit it, Spanish ham is something else!, but I managed to run W4D1, 2 and 3 in such a nice scenarios as Cap D'Artrutx light house, Minorca Island, also El Retiro Park, Madrid and now back to Jeddah treadmill...
For me... a success story is each and every story of all of you, and me, that begins with: "Today is the day and I begin counting calories, jogging and saying no to the food that I don't reallly need"
By the way, all of you that are reaching your targets... wow, I admire you and I love it, keep going! Me... I will try my best!
Feel free to add me in your friendlist, I cannot promise a daily exchange of supporting messages but I promise to be there when you need me.
Best Regards / José D.
