What is the worst date you have ever had?
I was asked out by this rather respectable seeming gentleman. He was on his last year of studying dentistry and had previously worked as a neuroscientist, so I figured that he was obviously clever and a well to do young chap. He appeared ever so nervous on our first date, but after a few drinks he loosened up and we had a good time. It was the second date that went awry.
So he took me to a rather posh restaurant with more cutlery on the table than I owned in my house. The waitress came over and asked if we would like a drink. He answered that he would prefer drugs and if she had any? She looked rather confused followed by increasingly mortified when he pulled out a syringe and injected himself in the thigh. I remained non plussed as she scurried away in fright and I asked him "You are a diabetic aren't you?" He looked rather surprised that I guessed and showed me his insulin syring with approval that I figured as such. He was still giggling away to himself as the manager came over and we explained John's (lack of) sense of humour to him. We were lucky not to be kicked out at this point.
It gets worse.
The soup, 2nd part of an 8 course dinner arrived. IF YOU ARE SQUEAMISH DO NOT READ THE REMAINDER OF THIS PARAGRAPH!!!! He suddenly sneezed and to my frozen horror a large plop fell into his soup. I made to call over the now very angry waitress to the table to change the soup over, when he stopped me. "Stop being so fussy!" he said, and simply stirred his soup and started eating it. He sneezed again but had the good grace catching the snot in his hand... and then proceeded to wipe it on the tablecloth.
You would think a 34 year old man would have learned manners by now. The conversation in the date went worse and worse with comments such as "Many women want me, you are lucky that I am here with you right now" and "Honestly, I have a queue of women that I would beat off with a stick if I could be bothered."
We didn't go out again.

Sounds like an idiot! I wouldn't like to have him as my dentist for sure, who knows what would end up down my throat!
I've been pretty lucky with dates I think and don't really have any horror stories to tell. Maybe the girls I have taken out would say different though lol.0 -
omg wtf xD He was 35...? xD That must of been sooo awkward.
My worst date was one of my first...My mom and I were hosting an exchange student from asia. She was very rebellious, and we had to go to meetings with other hosts/exchange students. I had a crush on this German kid. He was skinny and shy. I finally asked him to hang out.
My mom thought it would be a good idea to kill two birds with one student: head to a festival 1.5 hours away so we could also show another city to the two exchange students. The only condition was we had to leave before dark, because my mom has night blindness.
We left at dark. My mom got pulled over for driving too slow and couldn't find her paperwork etc. My exchange student ran into the woods, and the German guy sat their quietly as usual. After a long time my mom convinced the police to let her go without a ticket, so we hunted down our exchange student in the woods. Finally we were back on the road.
My mom tried driving more quickly, when the German guy finally spoke, "What is that?!" He told me to look behind me and there was a stampede of animals. My exchange student turned around and was looking at them too. Then WHAM -- the car hit something. Something BIG!!!
My mom started screaming because she thought she hit a homeless person or a bicyclist. No...It was a giant, 500 pound wild boar. And it was dead. I started crying because I love pigs, the German guy started rocking back and forth and our exchange student was laughing. My mom was like, "i'm sorry...I didn't expect a pack of wild boars. o_o"
So it was really late and we finally got back to town...We were getting close to the German guys home...we could see the house in the distance...really in the distance, but we had to drive down a dirt road...The German guy suddenly said, "oh...stop...this is fine..." and JUMPED out of the car and RAN INTO THE BUSHES!!
I saw him one more time after that...at a meeting and he RAN AWAY. Worst date ever!0 -
