i prefer bike riding, but since my goal is to do a triathlon, i'm starting to run once to twice a week, max. one of those times will be immediately after my bike ride, like today. today was a 12 mile bike ride, 2 mile run. i should've done a little less on the bike to be able to do a little more on my run.

I try to get out twice a week. The run leg of my last tri was tougher than I was anticipating, so I'm working on my run a bit more than usual, but on average 2x week.

4-5X a week. Love it. I am bummed if time is a factor and I can't run.

I gave up running 100% for biking. After about 15 minutes of running my hip starts to ache and then pop. No good for my bod. When I DID run, however, I ran about 4 miles 5 days per week.

I used to run 3-4 days a week. I'm doing Insanity now, training for a few half marathons so am only running 1 day a week on a long run, it's working out wonderfully.
  • I run 5 days a week. I break on Sundays and Thursdays. 5.2 miles each day. :drinker:

At the minute, 3ish times a week. When I was fitter 5 times a week. That's just road running though. I go to gym and do elliptical etc in between.

I'm with him. When I'm not training for a race, it's daily. During training 6 days a week. I wouldn't be able to function normally if I did it any less.
  • Shooting for 3x a week, plus hiking once a week.

This made me smile! I was running about 3 times a week. I hurt my knee and I am now focusing on strengthening my knee and my legs. So I am now friends with the Elliptical!
