I have been using MFP off and on for some time now. With my 40th Bday just around the corner (seriously, it's next week!!!) being celebrated with dinner w friends that I haven't seen in quite some time and a trip to Jamaica I have had a renewed dedication and appearanlty it shows ...
Last night my boyfriend told me that I look great and I know that I have been feeling great! I've lost 5lbs in just a couple of weeks and I attribute that not only to my dedication but also to my accountability to MFP. Using the food diary has helped me to look at my diet and figure out what I've been doing wrong and make the necessary changes and the excercise diary inspires me to hop on that treadmill at work (during my 12hour shifts) even if only for 10 minutes per break.
I've also been doing extended workouts at my boyfriends apartment complex gym using the elliptical, treadmill and strength training equipment. I have more energy than ever and all of the symptoms that attribute to my weight gain (esophageal reflux, heart palpations, tightness in my chest and general crappy feeling) have subsided.
Recently I have been gaining motivation from other success stories posted on the MFP Message Board so I wanted to post one of my own and say thank you ... so thank you
