To buy or not to buy?
Options
OK, so our 13th wedding anniversary is on Monday. DH and I are trying to save $ as we've been hemorrhaging money with our dogs and buying new clothes. So I stupidly thought that since we're not going out of town like usual, just taking the day off that gifts were out. WELL he went and bought gifts yesterday. WTF!? I have no clue what to buy him. He's into tech stuff, but OMG he has EVERYTHING. Should I get him something? If so and ideas? HELP ME!!!!!

You could always do something nice for him for your anniversary... that doesn't cost money.
I'm not going to say what, specifically, but something tells me others might offer some "creative" suggestions.

Best buy gift card, bottle of Odin's Tipple (A beer from Norway that is AWESOME)
The 13th wedding anniversary gift is usually furs or textiles, maybe you could get him another puppy? or a nice snuggie or blanket!0 -

Happy Anniversary !
LOL, that is a GIVEN! The plan is breakfast out at our fav restaurant, LONG bike ride, movie, and dinner at a nice restaurant. We both took the day off to spend together. I just feel like now I should get him a gift, but DAMN he has the IPAD2, 3 ipods, a Macbook Pro, a Mac Mini, Apple TV, a home gym, a nice bike, etc. etc. He's the type that he wants it and then he goes an buys it. Ruins my plans ALL the time by buying what I plan to get him!
I guess unless someone comes up with something techy he doesn't have I'll just go with the cheesey IOU's for certain favors!0 -

Men are different but I always tell my wife to save the money and come up with something fun / different / creative for the bedroom. I usually end-up getting clothes though...0 -
No idea.
Set up an account with fun money? Since he buys things anyway. But, that sounds a bit cheesy.
Maybe something romantic that he has been asking for but hasn't quite gotten yet?0 -
My guy loved the hour long professional (no happy endings) massage at the spa. Got him home, had my way with him and tucked him in for a nap.0

His favourite meal, a bottle of wine, low lighting and your song playing in the background....works for my hubby anyway!!0

Techy guys are tough! My husband is a techie too and I always find it difficult to shop for him! I do like the massage idea mentioned above. If there is a Massage Envy around you somewhere, it might worth be looking into. Their "first visit" discount is pretty good, around $40-50 depending on the location, for a one hour massage. They will try to pitch a membership to you, you can take it if you like it's a good deal, if you have the money to spare for it. It's also nice to use the couples room for a tandem massage!
Most gadgets and techie things are pretty expensive, but perhaps if he listens to an ipod during workouts, or any other reason, a gift certificate to itunes might be another worthwhile purchase for him.
There is always the purchase of some sexy lingerie for you to wear, and put in a nice wrapped box for him to open!
Happy Anniversary to you both and good luck with the shopping!0 -
How about bringing another girl into the bedroom?0

buy him something fun from fredricks or something and let him open it, then when he looks at you crazy tell him it is not time for you to unwrap your real gift and go put it on
My husband always runs out and buys everything he wants to so I have to get creative
Maybe a hot air baloon ride, we don't really do gifts, more just things together like the air balloon, fredricks, movies, dinner, mini vacations, ect. After a while gifts to me get boreing I would rather do or give him something that will make memories!0
