I just bought a new pair of Mizuno Wave Rider 14...needed a cushion shoe. Any one love/hate these??? I was having knee issues and these were recommended to me. I'm a new runner 3-4 miles a day. Would love to hear what my fellow runners think...THANKS!!!!

I've never tried them but always looking for more cushion in my running shoes. Please keep us posted on how you like them.
  • Do you have a running store near by? I would recommend getting your next pair at one of these stores. They can give you the best show for your body type and run style. As for the shoes you have I have no opinion, but really each person will experience subtle differences as we don't all have similar feet or styles.

If they feel good to you -roll with it.

I went to a running store and that is what they told me would work...got home and read a ton of mixed reviews about them...now I'm feeling I should of got the other pair they recommended... I liked them both. I have a hard time with shoes...small feet, high arches, and narrow heels. Just wanted to know what other runners thought about them...thanks

I have the Mizuno Wave runners and I LOOOVVEEEE them. I can't emphasize that enough.

I got them when I started running (which was in June) and now I have my half marathon a week from tomorrow.. and they've held up this long and are extremely supportive. Super comfy, very good to run with and help keep my ankles stable too.
I ran in Saucony's before that.. and now I won't ever go back from Mizunos. They're fantastic. I also have knee issues.. and I still get those issues sometime if my form gets sloppy.
I'd recommend looking into "good form" online.. i.e. the midfoot strike. It'll prevent shin splints and help your training if you focus on it while running.
I also train with Vibram 5 fingers like once a week for about a mile. It has helped tremendously.

Good luck with your running :). Take it slow and don't do what I did and sign up for a half marathon right when you start running haha.
