Hi
Okay I watch to many infomercals, but I can only get to the gym once a week and I am bored walking. So I saw on tv this thing for the "Firm Express"
I have lost a ton of weight and have loose skin every where and I need to tighen and tone and I was wondering what the opinion was? Should I invest 89.00 in 12 DVD's? I have the dedication to do it. I mean I lost 95lbs in a year I can do this! I was wondering if anyone else has them and what they think of them.

I don't know anything about this system in particular, but I did buy one Firm DVD. It was really fast and I couldn't keep up. Still can't; I'm not coordinated and the trainer never explained the moves. Before investing in an entire system, I'd get a couple of DVDs by the same people. See if you like them. If you do, go ahead and get the whole set. If not, try something else. When I first started, I bought the Biggest Loser DVDs. They're really good. I'd suggest those if you don't like the Firm ones.0

I agree, the firm dvds can be hard to keep up with at times. I would buy a couple single ones before I would buy the whole set. I have a few of them that I like but they are challenging and fast paced.0

I don't have this system, but I do have several Firm DVD's and I enjoy them. If you're new to working out they may be a little hard to follow, but if you've been at a while you can figure it out after doing them a few times. The good thing about them is you can make the routine harder just by adding heavier weights, so they are useful for a long time. I seem to remember this 12-DVD set having only 30 minute workouts, which is a little shorter than I need to make a difference for me. But other Firm workouts are available all over the place, and I've bought them from both Amazon and Target, so you should be able to find a cheaper one to see if you like it. I've found a couple of Firm DVD's with 3 or 5 workouts a piece on them, so that's a good place to start. Good luck and congratulations on your weight loss!!!!0

I've done some Firm DVD's in the past and I loved it -- although it did take me awhile to learn some of the steps.
I agree with some of the other comments -- buy one or two cheap ones and try it -- sometimes you'll need a box, and you really can just improvise with a small step stool if you have it.
No sense investing in all the equipment if the format of the DVD isn't going to work for you
Good luck!0 -
I have the Firm Express and I love it! I bought it off their website, but you might want to check out Amazon.com. I also have several other FIRM DVDs that I love! I would definitely recommend it if you are willing to spend the money.0

I agree with those that say try a few dvd's first.Maybe get it fromt he public library or check out some segments on youtube. I have the Firm Express but I am so uncoordinated and the moves are really fast and it wasn't a good fit for me. If I had been able to keep up I think they would have worked.0
