To cheat or not to cheat, that is the question

I've had a good day. My calorie goal for the day is 1630. I've consumed 1680, with dinner still to come. But, I rode my bike HARD for two hours, burning about 1500 calories. So, as of now, I've got 1450 calories to play with.
Even with a substantial dinner, I'll still be at least 700 calories below my goal. My wife and kids are going to DQ later.
Do I have 200-300 calories worth of ice cream? Or suffer the slings and arrows of jealousy?

Eat it ! You'll still lose weight. Not every night now just tonight. LOL0

Thanks! I'm leaning that way. But, I'm one of those people who has trouble stopping once I've started. I don't think I'll have that problem this time, though. Since it will be planned and not a spontaneous moment of weakness.0

Go thru Wendy's for yourself and order a jr Frosty. Just as good as ice cream and only 150 calories.0

Eat it now... or another time... never completely deny! You can have it... just dont make your rewards food on the regular!0

Sometimes you have to live..truly its up to you. You said its hard to stop..so order a very small ice cream and savor it. If youre trying to lose you dont necessarily want to eat back BAD CALORIES.0

Thanks, all, for the advice. I think I may just plan to take a couple of bites of someone else's. That way, I can satisfy the craving without feeling like I'm giving back all the good work.0
