I wasnt sure where to put this so I came to this section. Today, I actually went and bought dresses. They fit. I shed no tears of frustration at a shopping trip. Even tried on different sizes without shedding a tear. Then I look at my arms in the mirror and realize that my upper arms are more than flabby: they're loose as all get out.

By the end of my weight loss, I know the skin isn't going to go back. My weight has just been to dramatic from childhood to today and onward. For anyone else with this problem, of any age, how did you deal with this annoying problem mentally and clothingwise?

Someone told me to start taking a supplement called MSM as it's supposed to help with tightening the skin..renewing the collagen in it I guess...
    I haven't yet...but it's supposed to work.....

I've worked my triceps like crazy...have definition, but STILL have bat wings....GRRRRRR

DO NOT!!!! I repeat DO Not take MSM... My mother in law is a research scientist at the University of Calgary and she did research with MSM...yes initially it will give mild relief but with in a month you will do irreparable damage to your joints. Please please don't ever use MSM!!!

Mentally, I would say you can be proud of those baggy arms. They are a badge of strength - proof that you had the strength and stamina to take the weight off! When you look in the mirror, remember how they use to look and how hard you have worked to be where you are now. If you don't want anyone to see them wear sleeves that cover them. Nobody knows they're there under your clothing. You have done great, don't feel you have to be perfect. Time will fix your skin.
