Needing some friends and guidance

Hello everyone! I'm new to this program. I applaud everyone's successes so far, because you are all so inspirational! I've been on myfitnesspal for a little over 3 weeks and have dropped 7 lbs so far! I'm to the point where the clothes that were getting tight on me fit better and I feel better and no more heart burn at night and I sleep like a log! I am a hospitality student and gained a lot of weight going through my 3 years of school. Pastry programs where you bring a whole cake home once a week DOES NOT help! :flowerforyou:

Oh dear...I've heard stories of the trials and tribulations of becoming a pastry chef from my boyfriend. His mother was a pastry chef and he has all her recipe notes. I felt like I gained 10 pounds just reading the recipes! But man did they sound delicious.0

Hi sounds like you are one step ahead of the game. You have already lost weight; that is so great! I am so proud of you. This is the greatest place to get back on track. Keep up the good work, I am so proud of you, you lost 7 lbs, are you changing your eating habits? Sounds like you are doing something right!!
I had my cholesterl tested high at 249, so instead of taking the statin medicin. I have changed my diet, I have also brought veggies n chicken breast to make soup. I want to live on this healthy soup. There are so many good soups that one can make. I am learning that Turmeric taste good in soup if I want a change along with some cayenne peppers.
You will have to tell me how your changing your eating habits?? That is important, if you want to keep losing, you must work on that. Adding more veggies, water & exercise is something that I have been really working on, then the bad foods don't call out to me....if you know what I mean??
