So, I've went up about 2.4lbs in the last 5 days, is this a salt issue or a fat issue? 
I would really like to lose those, what should I do?

Hard to know exactly why, but the main thing is to stay focused, and keep on track. I know its disturbing, but it happens to us. Those pounds should come back off.0

It's more likely to be a salt-related water-retention issue, unless you've actually eaten enough sugar/fat to gain that much fat in five days (in which case, I salute your lardy skills!) Keep drinking plenty of water, watch your salt intake, and keep on with your exercise. It'll come off again soon.0

I don't know - results from one week could be a variety of things. But here's what I did notice. 4 out of the last 7 days you were well under your calories. My suggestion is you need to be fueling your body more consistently. Don't go under 1200 calories. Also, if you weighed into today, note that yesterday you sodium was clear over the top ... by almost 2000 extra. Your results could be impacted by that.0

I was just looking at your page and saw that you posted about sunburn. Are you sunburnt?? You will retain fluid if you are sunburnt, its your bodies way of protecting its damaged cells. Not saying that you will retain 2.4 lbs, but you will retain some fluid, so it could be a combination of both, especially if your H2O intake is low. Being sunburnt is like being sick, it takes alot out of your body that will affect the balance of everything else. Push the fluids and check it in a day or two.0
