11lbs(5kg) in 3 weeks. Is it too fast?

Howdy ya'll, I've been on MFP for about 3 weeks now. I set my activity level as sedentary and loss at 2lbs a week, and it set my goal around 1360 net.
I have averaged closer to 1600 calories a day for the 3 weeks, and have managed to lose about 11lbs so far. Is this too fast? I have just experimented and put my activity at lightly active and 2lbs a week loss, and this is still slightly below my weekly average.
I don't want my body to head into starvation mode, and I don't want to end up with loose skin etc from losing weight too fast, so should I look at increasing my average calorie intake to around 2100 to bring my loss back to 2lbs a week? I am guessing I must be more active than I realised.
Diary should be open for people to look at, I know it's not the best diet yet, but I am working on it.

Not if you're eating enough... when I first begin a diet the initial few pounds seem to fall off in a few days. Don't worry, it sounds like you're doing it the healthy way so enjoy the quick weight loss:)0

Probably a good 5-7 pounds of that is water weight so subtract that from your 11 lbs and you have roughly 6 lbs of actual loss or 2 lbs per week which is what you were aiming for. You're fine. Just don't get used to the big numbers and get disappointed or discouraged when it settles to 1-2 lbs a week.0

I agree, it falls off at first and alot of it is water weight the first week or two. Also, I believe the more you have to lose, the more quickly it will fall off in the beginning before it kind of tapers off to a smaller amount each week. I came here with 40 lbs to lose and in just 1 week I've lost 5 lbs but I know that at least half of that is water weight from cutting my soda back a ton since the sodium & calorie decrease this week was a lot more than it will be once my body adjusts itself. I'm pretty sure with the amount of weight you have to lose that if you're consistent with your eating and exercise you will shed a good bit of weight fairly quick with no problems from it.0

the first week is when you lose the most since it iis mostly water weight and then it starts getting harder. don't worry, just keep doing what yu're doing . also, how much you lose a week depend on how much you weigh currently, so if you weigh more , you're probably going to lose more.

Thanks for the replies, I'll keep my goal calories set at the 1360 or so that MFP wants to give me, and not stress about my average being about 1600. Lets me zig zag a bit, if I have another few weeks of this sort of loss, I'll look at upping my calories again.0
