So, I've lost a couple pounds in the last week, been to the gym a few times... I am super sore from it all too.
I put on a long sleeved shirt and my favorite pair of jeans, they feel tighter! I haven't gained weight!
Ideas or explanations?

If you are sore, your muscles will be retaining fluid to help them heal. This will make them plump up a bit while they recover.0

"Super sore" is your clue. You tore up a lot of muscle tissue. The body heals through inflammation. Your muscles are swollen because they need to heal! Back off a little on the intensity of your exercise and spend a little more time at it (more reps, longer duration on cardio). I hope you have consulted with a personal trainer who will get you on the right track. Working out too hard, especially if you're way out of condition, can lead to injury and that will stop you dead in your tracks.
Cheers...

Oh, well I wasn't/am not that horribly out of shape.
A year ago I was hard core weight training, even earned my world record in the bench press. I guess I had never paid attention to my body weight and size being affected back then as I do now being so focused on losing weight!
Thanks for the answers guys, that yoga class was way harder than I'd expected it to be! I didn't realize that yoga could kick my butt so much!0
