So, I've noticed that, as I lose weight, there are thin reddish lines and red markings that emerge on my stomach--the main source of excess fat.
What exactly is happening here? Probably not permanent.

Stretchmarks? I always noticed them on the way up but never on the way down, if they are in fact stretchmarks sorry they are permanent, dont know how old you are but I noticed my two youngest kids had the reddest ugliest stretchmarks every, I cried when they showed me, but they really improved tremendously, mine I got from pregnancy and they didnt improve at all.0
