How much weight does 99% lean ground turkey lose after cooki

I'm going to make tacos for dinner with ground turkey and the serving size is four ounces and I'm assuming that's raw. Since I'm making tacos I can't separate my portion out before I cook it because of the seasoning, so I'm wondering how much of a difference a portion size is after it's cooked. I know beef loses a lot more weight than turkey but does anyone know a proportion of some sort? If not I'm going to have to do the math with my kitchen scale :/

My nutritionist said a general rule of thumb, not exact but close-ish, is 4 ounces of meat is about the size of a deck of cards.

One thing I like to do is to cook a serving size (weighed out on my scale) so that I can see what it looks like after it's cooked. This helps me to estimate when I'm cooking for my family.

I use ground turkey a lot for sloppy joes. YUM

Can you measure out a portion size on your kitchen scale once it's cooked? That's what I do . . but I have one of those little scales with a cup (with sides) so I just measure in what looks appropriate and add or subtract as necessary to make the portion size I want.

I believe the previous poster is correct based on what a dietician also told me . . 4 oz is about the size of a deck of cards.
