When you log it you can specify the number of servings you ate. This value can be a decimal value. So when I do that I look at what it says for a serving size, estimate how much of a serving I ate (for instance a half cup when a serving is one cup) and the change my number of servings accordingly (.5 in the previous example)
  • well me I put everything down otherwise there's no point.

snap me too, it's the little bits that add uo in the end! I do weight/measure things, so if a serving is 100g and I only had 50g, I will put 0.50 etc

With me, if i eat it i try to find a way to log it. Use the decimal points and fractions those will help you a lot.

i use the decimal point when I am logging on here and my phone but I love my IPOD for that because it lets me use fractions. My brain understands fractions better lol. You can also change serving size. if serving size is 3 pancakes you can change it to one and so forth.

The whole point of logging is that you cannot lie to yourself when you write down every single thing. It's those two bites of grits on the pancake left on your child's plate that add up to the worst calories, 'cause none of our count them unless we have to. After a couple of months you will think, "I don';t need to log anymore. I know how much I can eat." You will stop logging and you will gain weight - promise. Logging is crucial. CRUCIAL. And you gotta be honest ... with yourself.

    Good luck!!
