Body Fat Scale Question

When can I expect to get the best Body Fat Percentage using a Scale that measure's body fat %?
My guess would be first thing in the morning after my morning potty run and before I eat or drink anything.
Thoughts?
Regards,
Bruce

Yes, that's when I weigh, when I do actually weigh. It just seems to make sense then.0

I agree that that would be the best time to measure. It doesn't really matter all that much though as long as you are consistent with the time, then you'll be able to see an accurate change in %.
I measure mine around 1-2 hours after I've had breakfast, but that's only because I don't have a decent home scale so have to go into town for it.0 -
I don't think your body fat % fluctuates as much as your weight (mass) does, because a lot of weight fluctuation is water weight, fuul stomach, full bladder/bowel, etc.
Choose a day and time that suits you best... for most I guess that's first thing in the morning. Weight yourself naked (then there's no question of clothing counting) plus you need bare feet for the body analyser scales to work anyhow. Note the weight and the body fat% and/or BMI and then put your scales away until next week.
Unless you are maintaining or preparing for a championship contest, you don't need to weigh yourself every day. Moreover, I think that psychologically, if you're on a weight loss programme, this can dent your confidence as much as boost it.
But that's just my take on things0 -
Don't do it first thing in the morning. You need to be hydrated but not over hydrated.
