The meat for tomorrows lunch cooked or raw?
Veggies raw or steamed?

Pasta - dry
Meat - raw0 -
raw for meat. Not sure about pasta.
At least I was told to weigh meat raw.0 -
It depends what the box says...
Does it say 1/2 cup DRY pasta and then list the nutrients...
Or are the nutrients listed for 1/2 cup COOKED.
Most things are dry/out of the box.
Things like chicken don't really matter... they weigh the same before/after.0 -
Raw for meat, dry for pasta0

i weigh everything cooked because that's how you are going to eat them is cooked.
if you look at MOST (not all) nutrition labels the cooked is normally higher in calories/fat etc than if eaten dry... well i don't think you will be eating pasta or meat dry/uncooked lol...
make sense? hmm not sure if that was confusing or not but yeah...0 -
Weigh things uncooked.0

yeah that's what I was going to say. I check the box and weigh things after they are cooked if the box says so. but otherwise I weigh most things raw. Good luck!0
