Beginning a very long journey...

Hi everyone! A few days ago, I downloaded the MFP iPhone app thanks to the suggestion of my pal "gatedialer."
I've got a long journey ahead of me--if I keep to my daily calorie goal it should take about 3 years to reach my target weight.
I'd like to connect with others with similar weight loss goals as me: 100+ pounds to shed. I'm a 25 y.o. female who's as willing to give as much support as I receive.

I started over a year ago my first major goal is 105 lbs to be under 200 lbs. I have lost 63 lbs so far and on my way to 100 lb. MFP will help you lose weight if you stick with it. Good luck on your journey. You can do it. Sending you a friend request and we can do it together.0

Good luck to you too! Keeping a daily record is a great way to develop life long habits. I used them in other aeas well but never in my diet. Duh, takes me awhile to figure out things....
I have a 65lb goal. It will be a long road but with diet AND exercise it is possible one step & bite at a time.0 -

Good for you! I will add you as a friend, as I can give support and I need support too. I just joined a few days ago, and I am trying to lose just under 75 lbs now. I feel like it will be a long road too. I guess we are going to be patient and persistant! All the best!
