1 week down, a life time to go....

Hi all,
After being exhausted by my teaching job last year I decided to use the summer to get serious about an exercise program that could become a way of life. I kept at it all summer and saw my stamina improve, my posture, and I lost 3 lbs. More important I lost 1.5 inches on my hips and legs and 1/2 inch on arms, and waist. This motivated me to continue on with the added goal of managing my diet in order to have real weight loss. That brought me here last week. I am lucky to start off with a 2lb loss this past week but I don't expect that to continue especially as work piles up and the season changes. I know its a long haul. I am hoping that having a "community" of supporters will help to keep me on track, something I have not been able to do in the past. I wish us all the best in "Staying the Course."
