Add strength training. Even the 'toning' exercises in some zumba classes are really ineffective as far as body composition goes.0

Oh yeah, lift weights!0

Yes! Add strength training and different cardio workouts. You need to change up your workouts because your muscles have memory and will get used to doing something over and over again and you will stop seeing results. Change it up!0

What are you eating? Exercise won't help if you're eating more than you burn.0

EXACTLY! You need to vary your workouts so that your body doesn't adjust to the type of exercise you are getting! Try yoga, lifting weights, strict cardio or swimming!0 -

This is what I was going to ask. How often are you doing zumba? What are you eating? Unless you open your diary it's hard to help.0 -
I eat OK but not very well...I do zumba 3-4 times a week for 1-2 hours a session. I'm on here now to hopefully get my eating habits in a better soot and get some results!0

I know scores of people who lost a lot of weight (and look fantastic) without ever doing a second of any kind of exercise.
I know one person who got to a size 2 only doing Zumba. I lost 34 pounds with my only exercise being nightly walks.
It sounds like you need to adjust your calorie intake and then worry about the exercise part. Zumba's a great workout. Strength training is a good idea, but not necessary to see weight loss. And while your body will adjust a bit to the same exercise (you'll burn slightly fewer calories because your HR won't get up as high), it won't stop burning calories and will still be effective.0
