So the day before yesterday I was in the gym and this gentleman who was training a girl about my age commented on how hard I was working, asked how long I've been working out, etc. I saw him again today and he commented on how functional my lifts are--meaning they multitask, use movements useful in other activities, and don't waste any time. Then before he left he came over and said he wanted my workout, and I chuckled because I thought he was being silly and I make it up as I go along anyway so I don't really remember it, but he REALLY wants it. He coaches for basketball and said that my exercises were great and incorporate so many things--balance, stability, strength, endurance. I felt SO COOL. This is the second person who's commented on my workout over break, and he seriously wants to use it for coaching! I told him I'd write it up for him, but I also contacted my favorite professor concerning the intellectual property rights for stuff like this. I make up about 80% of my workouts, so I definitely want some credit lol! :glasses: So yea, it pretty much made my day. If this continues I may have to start charging.

Oh I was planning on becoming ACSM certified, but their test is SO HARD. I didn't know how to read EKG's at the time and didn't know enough about anatomy to pass it, and I didn't want to waste $278  But I am much more prepared now so I'm making it my goal to get certified by the end of my summer internship so I can train while I take the extra courses I need for grad school. If people really notice my inventive workouts, I'll definitely pick up a lot of clients. There is a gym 5 minutes walk away from my parents' house, so that would work out perfectly.

 LOL I didn't know what to make of it at first either but he is married and has a daughter and it looks like he just wanted to be on good terms before he asked for my workout.
