I am wanting to lower my sugar to about well none, and no more than 40 grams of carbs a day and i want to know if there is a way to adjust that in my food diary settings so it just counts my sugar and carbs and ignors my calories. I am a true believer that i have a carb sensitivity and sugar is just as bad. I try and stay away from sugar but my carbs have got a liittle out of control i think.....i just want to experiement to see if i drop some weight by cutting way back on both. Any suggestions?

You can't turn off the calorie counts, but you can certainly watch both sugar and carbs. If you go to your diary settings you can pick what you want to watch.

As for lowering carbs, make sure you get plenty of protein in to replace it. Protein will keep you fuller long so you don't get too hungry and crave sugars or carbs.

I understand where you're coming from, I am insulin resistant and know carbs are the root of most of my evils! I'm about to revamp my diet and try more low carb.

On the tracking piece- You can adjust your daily totals to personalize them---- go to the goals tab, then hit change goals, then chose customize. Then you can pick what you want to track, and personalize your goals.

    HOpe that helps!

You can lower the percentage of your carb goal in your goals settings. While on the My Home tab click Goals then Change Goals and then choose Custom. You can manually set your goals there.

I had to cut carbs to lose weight, but not quite so drastic as your plan. If I keep mine under 70-80 grams per day net, I can drop pounds.
