I've lost just under 50lbs since February (most of that since June). I skate (inline) for 2/3 hours a week, commute the 7.5 miles to work by bike (90 minutes round trip) most days and play pick up Ultimate Frisbee for an hour some weeks. I eat most of my exercise calories. I set my goals to 1lb per week on MFP, but most weeks that lot is enough to lose me 2lbs.0

I agree, the couch 2 5k is great. The way I started my journey was doing my homework. I found a BMR calculator on webmd (http://www.webmd.com/diet/healthtool-metabolism-calculator) that showed me roughly how many calories my body burns a day without doing anything. Next, you need to cut out 3500 calories per week per pound you want to lose. After that, it gets real easy. Just use myfitnesspal to track your caloric intake and exercise routine and watch the pounds come off. And the best part is, you can continue to eat what you want (within reason if course). If you need anything else, don't hesitate to contact me. Good luck!!0
