I have just picked up a flyer (from my local dentists of all places), for a Kettle Bell workout class. I have not come across this sort of exercise before and have done a little bit of research on the net (good old google). Although i have lost 4 stone i still have a few more stones to go. My exercise consists mainly of walking and home use of my cross trainer and i would like to do something that would help me start to tone up. Have any of you used kettle bells? If so could you let me know what its like? I really dont want to join something that is going to be out of my league and annoy others in the class cos i'm a fat, sweaty mess who cant keep up!!!! (this is why i havent joined a gym). Thanks :)

    Hi,
I have lost 4 stones too, and have just started Kettle bell classes, i walked and did zumba before i went to the kettlebells, you will cope with it, its hard to start with but u can work to your own pace, Im not a member of a gym either. It gives you really good results and burns fat quickly. Give it a go, i was like you and worried about keeping up but honestly you will be fine. One boy that goes to the class has lost an amazing 11 stones xx

I just purchased " kettle worx" Its kettle bell workouts comes with a 10 lb kettle bell.. I love it.. I mix it in with my cardio and it is a great workout.. I tried kettle bells at the YMCA before making this purchase.. I love my videos.. I pop them in the DVD player .. Thay are 20 min workouts with 10 min of warm up and cool down. Cost was 3 payments of 30 dollars.. I recommend it !!

Kettle bells are the best piece of equipment in the gym. I also have kettleworx and many more dvd's and I also LOV LOV LOV them. they burn a ton of calories and they are FUN - have a go - you'll be breathing hard.
