Food, eating, hungry, bored, tummy, belly, food, bored, food, food! All I wanna do is eat.

I'm holding back so far (unlike my snackfest yesturday!! Was only 200cals above though - been worse!)

It seems like no matter what, or how much of what I'm eating I ain't full and I want more. I'm bored out my mind - the days going so slow! Can't belive it ain't even 12 yet, i've been up since 5 and it feels like any times gunna be bed time!

How do you people deal with these days?? It's killing me and taking all my self restraint to hold back having a big big munch out and taking a big nap with my son.

Hey you may try eating more smaller meals throughout the day instead of the 3..I do that and it makes me feel like I am eating more than I really am...good luck!

They are my worse days. When my brain is bored and tries to convince me to eat. I normally hold out so long before I admit defeat. I wish I could give you an answer to this problem but I am yet to find one for myself.

Normally water water and trying to keep my attention on something else works for a short while.

Get up on your feet, get out of the house! You don't have to stay in front of the computer. :)
  • I've been successful only because I eat breakfast, Fiber One, the fiber keeps me full and at lunch I get a huge salad so by dinner I am ready for a nice meal and dessert!

Gosh these kinda days are hard. Eating seems so easy and at least your mouth is busy right. Honestly all I can suggest is when you look at your son - precious bundle that he is - what do you want him to see in you in a few years time? A determined fit Mommy with loads of energy ready to burn or a Mom who's tired and bored? What about yourself when your son is ready for his first day of pre-school then what? Its hard it really is but a long journey begins with a single step
even if its the same step repeated until you get that one step right. Ask God to tell you what to do with the time you have today. Bless!!

Thank you atleast I'm not the only one who struggles with these days!

And I can't go for a walk as bubas got a bit of a cold, he's all dosed up on capol with a blanket in his cot! and the wind outside just seems leathal. I'm even refusing to smoke outside in it (that can't help the need to eat trying to fight cravings!)

How bout putting the little cutie munchkin in the stroller for a walk when you feel like that or instead of napping when he does get a exercise DVD and working out, after a good work out you wont want to eat bad food after the hard work you just did

When I get like that it's usually because something is bothering me. You don't have to share it here, but is there something bothering you? Getting to the root of the problem and realizing that food ain't gonna fix the problem sometimes helps. Is it that TOM?

Why don't you take your son to the zoo or museum? A walk? If you must eat something, choose protein over sugar.

    This.

And if nothing else, reorganize your closet! Clean the bathroom, mop the floors, dust the top of everything, wash the basebards (that's a good one for exercise), etc.

My husband and I spent most of Saturday cleaning out the basement. We both got a fantastic work out AND we have a clean and fairly organized basement now.

Did I mention my garage, basement, bathroom cabinets have never been cleaner since joining MFP? LOL
