I have a run (Jail Break) on Saturday 9/17/11, and I need to know if anyone knows of a creme that will numb my foot long enough to make it through the run.

I got a nai stuck in my foot a week ago and it hurts everytime I put pressure on it, but I refuse to back out.

Please help me out!

Trying not to be a downer here - more concern than anything - but you might want to get that checked out. Puncture wounds can be very serious! My daugher stepped on a tack and there was part of it still in her foot that was causing the residual pain, even though she thought it was all out. Took several days to heal properly after we got it all out.

Also, if the pain source is located deeper in the wound, there might not be an over the counter medicine(topical type) that would dull the pain long enough for the run.

I hope you get to run!

I suggest you consult with a podiatrist...this doesn't sound like a good idea.

you can try arnica, but I would only do it if the wound is not open any longer. You can get it at any natural kind of store (whole foods, vitamin cottage, pharamaca), if you don't have a place like that near you, drug stores and see if they carry any. Watch the injury for infection, this is a nasty place to get one
  • Thank you all so much! I think I am going to try to find that Arnica in the morning. Thanks!
