Maintaining Motivatiom

Hi!

Been logging in for about 110 days now and not missed a day. Trouble is, the temptations are getting stronger and the will power is diminishing every day. I'm still exercising 3/4 times a week, but the weight loss has hit a plateau and the 'why bother' mindset is taking hold. Any ideas to kickstart my enthusiasm again? I'm still 15 pounds off my target weight.

Thanks for looking, good luck!

Stuart

you ought to work in 2 cheat meals/week...or 1 cheat day/week. and by "cheat", I don't mean gorge...but sensibly eat something you enjoy. This should help both the mental temptations (if you know you're going to eat something you really like once or twice per week) and it should also knock your system around internally to give it a kickstart.

if you haven't changed your exercise routine, do it. normally, results tend to stagnate at the 4-6 week range if you're not changing things up. try some interval training if you haven't done that before...and if you are doing interval training, try another form of it.

make sure you're drinking at least 100 ounces of water a day.
