I am currently exercising with p90x but dont know how to add my work out under the excercise tab. Anyone knows how to search for the p90x work out under the excercise search?

Unfortunately there is not one due to the way it varies so much with each person. I just started it this morning and I am estimating for now until I purchase a HRM which is recommended.0

Here ya go! Best wishes.
Use a heart rate monitor.
Go to Exercise tab, then enter P90X Cardio X, a message will pop up that says it's not in the database, towards the bottom of the screen click on: Can't find what you're looking for? Add an exercise to the database. Then add in the name, time, and calories burned.0 -
Unless you have an HRM where you can add your workout to your own database in MFP, the next best thing is to log it as a circuit training workout.

I've been doing it for a little while. I usually just add a note under mine saying what disc I did for strength, and don't worry about logging each excercise for strength training. For cardio I try to find the closest type of excercise.
Or for the weights you can add the individual reps under strength training, choosing the closest weight training excercise. If you have a heart monitor that tells you the calories burned you can personalize the exercise for your log.0 -
The "Circuit Training" option seems to be the closest option I can find as I'm alternating P90X and Insanity. I'm not sure how accurate the numbers are, but I bet you will be happy with the changes you see as you maintain the programs and are careful with your nutrition as you do so. Keep it up!0
